SNCF Layout
My SNCF layout is a T-1-Trak modular layout that is designed to be expandable. It consists of sections that are three quad-length T-1-Trak modules with a standard endcap on each end. In addition I am building a C-Junction module so that the layout can integrate with a standard T-Trak layout. After the first set is built the additional towns that are being modelled are going to be designed so that they can be directly integrated with T-Trak modules or ran on their own as part of the T-1-Trak layout.
The layout represents a branch line between two cities in France. The traffic is best described as primarily commuter traffic with sporadic freight trains with no on-line switching. Additionally the traffic will include TGVs which very likely would not run over this line at all.
