• My SNCF layout will be based loosely on the line between Reims and Épernay. The line doesn’t appear to have much in the way of switching currently, and seems to only have commuter and transfer traffic. The line is single track and has sidings at each of three small towns. Below are the pieces of equipment and track that I either have or need & want to order. The track list is what I need to complete the initial part of the layout as planned.

The layout will be using a TCS DCC LT-50 DCC System, eventually expanding to a CS-105 LCC/DCC command station. There are several reasons for this. The first is that the LT-50 can be used to build out the control buses.

    Track List
  • The first layout I’m going to be building is based loosely on the SNCF line between Épernay and Reims in the Marne Department of France. The line will feature three towns along line. The layout is being built so that individual components can be integrated into a standard T-Trak layout, or run on their own as a table-top or free-standing layout.

The initial layout will consist of 14 modules of varying types from quad-length modules to end cap modules. This layout will be the “Minimum” layout consists of a staging yard with a town. The yard is based off of the Murrah Staging yard. The town is loosely based upon Rilly la Montagne. The modules are built with the track running down the center of the module. This will allow most module sets to be rotated and displayed without problem. This minimum layout will be approximately 22 feet long by four feet wide.
